Turn any garment photo into a clean technical flat

Scroll to explore

Drop in any photo of a garment — a runway shot, a lookbook image, a competitor product, even your own phone snap — and jubie redraws it as a clean front / side / back technical flat in seconds. No tracing, no manual CAD work, no waiting on a tech designer.

The Traditional Way

Tracing a flat by hand takes hours.

The first step in any tech pack is the technical flat — and historically, getting one made is slow and expensive:

⏱️

Hours of CAD tracing

A skilled designer spends 1-3 hours per garment redrawing the silhouette, seams, panels, and details from a reference photo into Illustrator or CAD software.

💰

$50 — $200 per flat

Outsourcing a single technical flat to a freelance technical designer typically runs $50-200 depending on complexity. A 10-piece collection adds up fast.

🔄

Slow revision cycles

Want to tweak the silhouette, change the strap style, or add a back panel? Each revision means waiting on the designer to update the file.

📐

Inconsistent quality

Different freelancers deliver different line weights, panel decisions, and view angles — making your tech pack pages look stitched-together rather than cohesive.

How It Works

4 simple steps

01

Upload any photo

Runway shot, lookbook image, e-commerce photo, your phone camera roll — any image where the garment is reasonably visible. PNG, JPG, or WEBP.

02

AI reads the garment

jubie isolates the garment from the model, background, and surface decoration. It identifies the silhouette, fit class, neckline, sleeve, hem, panels, and visible construction details.

03

Redraws as a technical flat

The garment is redrawn symmetrically as a clean black-line technical flat — front, side, and back views — using uniform stroke weight and proper construction-line conventions.

04

Drop into your tech pack

Download the flat as a PNG or send it directly into the AI Designer / Tech Pack workflow to layer construction notes, BOM, and POMs on top.

Features

What you get

01

Fidelity-first redraw

The AI translates your reference — it does not redesign it. Silhouette, fit class, garment category, and visible details are preserved exactly. No "improvements" or stylization.

02

3 views from 1 photo

Even when your reference only shows the front, jubie infers the side and back views consistent with the front silhouette and standard garment geometry.

03

Optional background cleanup

Toggle the "remove background" option to pre-clean the photo before tracing — useful for busy backgrounds or distracting environments.

04

User notes / overrides

Add free-text notes to override what the AI sees ("interpret this as a relaxed fit", "make the hem high-low") and the flat will incorporate those changes.

05

Print & pattern aware

Surface decoration (prints, sequins, color-blocking) is ignored unless it defines a real panel boundary. Construction lines stay clean and editable.

06

Built for tech packs

Output uses the same line-weight hierarchy and view alignment as our other CAD outputs, so flats from any source layer cleanly into the same tech pack page.

Skip the trace. Get the flat.

Stop spending hours redrawing photos in Illustrator. Drop any garment image into jubie and get a clean, production-ready technical flat in seconds — front, side, and back.
